At dentsu, we are committed to creating long-term sustainable change in society and within our company. This begins with the values of equality, respect, empowerment and inclusion, which supports our commitment to create a fair and equitable workplace where everyone feels they belong, that they can unleash their full creativity, empathy and courage to be champions for progress.
Achieving gender balance is core to our commitment to equality. International Women's Day is a reminder of the progress we have made. For dentsu, our ambition is to have 50% women-identifying in Director and Executive levels. At dentsu China, our female workforce have grown by 5% in the last five years, with many of them taking on crucial roles in driving our company's success through impactful change.
We champion a gender-equal and inclusive society through gamechanging campaigns that not only focus on women’s empowerment, but also address critical issues around women owned business and professional pathways. The business team, led by Cindy Lee, joined forces with Fenbid to turn their menstrual pain reliever packaging into a letter for mountain girls. Meanwhile, we reached out to women who have broken free from their rural backgrounds to inspire and uplift the younger generations that are still struggling.
At dentsu, we believe that creating diverse and balanced teams is not just a moral imperative, it is a business imperative. To help our clients reach millions of different people every day, we need our people to reflect the society that we represent.
