职位描述
The Design Director Role
Our Shanghai studio is growing with new projects, clients and into new categories.
The Design Director/Creative Director role is one of leadership. You will be leading a team of talented designers and creating direction for a number of world famous and local brands. Having already established yourself as a great designer your role is now one of leading a team to produce outstanding, charismatic designs. You will partner with Account Directors and Strategy to build powerful client relationships that create an environment for great design to thrive.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Develop a partnership mentality with clients to build trust and long term relationships
Inspire confidence through design knowledge, expertise and relevant provocation to clients, in line with the brand
Lead the team through evaluating and editing creative work
Responsibility for the creative direction of a number of brands
Encourage collaborative ways of working and cross department communication
Lead the allocation of appropriate resource within the team
Identify development areas and skills gaps for the team and support them with training and coaching
Identify creative opportunities for business growth
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience 10 years+ in a top branding, design or creative business
Ability to execute brand ideas across multiple touch points
Experience in leading one or more designers
Confident communication skills in presentations and conversations with senior clients and internal teams
Fluency in Mandarin and English
